NEW The Maison de la Baie de Somme is a new scenography and new tools to allow students to know everything about the Baie de Somme: the origins of the bay, the tide, the fauna and flora that inhabit this estuary with interactive dioramas, horns, manipulation games, a room dedicated to seals ... But it is also an awakening to the professions of the Bay and to the future of this changing territory with a room dedicated to the Men of the Bay and another to the risks of submersion.
The visit allows students to explore the trades of yesteryear and activities characteristic of our region such as chair mulching, peat extraction, the locksmith industry or the cultivation and scutching of flax.
